Tornado watch added to flash flood watch in Northampton, Lehigh counties - UPDATE

The tornado watch is in effect through 2 a.m. Saturday with the flash flood watch running through 8 a.m., the service said. Warren and Hunterdon counties are in the flash flood watch but are not included in the tornado watch. A tornado touched down in southwest Pennsylvania about 5 p.m. Friday, destroying some homes. The tornado near Ligonier, Pa., caused heavy damage in surrounding areas. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
