Ryan Howard making steady progress in rehabilitation from a torn left Achilles' tendon

http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/sports/index.ssf/2012/06/ryan_howard_making_steady_prog.html FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES Injured Philadelphia Phillies slugger Ryan Howard says he is making progress in his rehabilitation from a torn left Achilles' tendon that has sidelined him all season. Howard said today on his website that "rehab is going very well." He said on RyanHoward6.com that he's been hitting in simulated games and that his leg is getting a lot stronger. Howard has been working out in Clearwater, Fla. He said running will be the final hurdle prior to his return. The All-Star first baseman did not offer a timetable for him rejoining the lineup. Earlier this week, Philadelphia general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. told csnphilly.com that Howard was unlikely to return in June.
