http://sportsmediajournal.com/ ESPN Sees Another Ratings Record for Heat/Celtics- Last night’s Game Six of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics registered an over night rating for ESPN of 8.2, the highest overnight rating for a NBA game on cable ever. The previous record came this past Sunday when Gamme Four of the series netted a 7.9 rating. Game Seven is tomorrow night at 8:30p.m. ET. Tigers/Reds on Sunday Night Baseball- ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball this week will feature an Interleague match-up between the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds. First pitch is at 8:00p.m. ET with Dan Shulman, Terry Francona, Orel Hershiser and reporter Buster Olney. Mets/Yankees on Sunday MLB on TBS- This week’s Sunday MLB on TBS telecast will feature the New York Mets at the New York Yankees. Steve Physioc (play-by-play) and John Smoltz will call the game beginning at 1:00p.m. ET. CBS has Coverage of the FedEx St. Jude Classic this Weekend- CBS will have coverage Saturday and Sunday of the FedEx St. Jude Classic. Bill Mcatee and Ian Baker-Finch will call the action from the 18th tower. Peter Oosterhuis will report from the 17th hole while David Feherty mans the action on 16. Coverage on Saturday and Sunday begins at 3:00p.m. ET from the TPC Southwind in Memphis. U.S. Men’s National Soccer World Cup Qualifying Opener Tonight on ESPN- ESPN will have coverage tonight of the first match in the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team’s quest to qualify for the World Cup. The team will face Antigua and Barbuda beginning at 8:00p.m. ET. in Tampa. Play-by-play commentator Glenn Davis, analyst Taylor Twellman and reporter Monica Gonzalez will call the match. Tigers’ Manager Leyland on Studio 42 with Bob Costas- The next edition of the MLB Network’s Studio 42 with Bob Costas will feature an interview with Tigers’ Manager Jim Leyland. The program debuts tomorrow at 2:00p.m. ET. Friday Night Fights on ESPN- Tonight’s Friday Night Fights on ESPN2 will feature Former Middleweight world champion Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik and Scott “Cujo” Sigmon in a 10-round Super Middleweight main event. Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas will be ringside describing the action. Also Bernardo Osuna will be on site in Las Vegas on the eve of the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley Welterweight title bout and will present a report and interviews from Friday’s weigh-in. Indy Car Firestone 550 This Weekend on NBC Sports Network- The NBC Sports Network will have coverage this weekend of the Firestone 550 from the Texas Motor Speedway. Qualifying will take place tonight at 7:30p.m. ET with the race Saturday at 8:00p.m. ET. Bob Jenkins, Jon Beekhuis and Tommy Kendall will call all the qualifying coverage. Additionally, Kevin Lee, Robin Miller andTownsend Bell will serve as pit reporters calling all the race action. Men’s and Women’s Visa Gymnastics Championships on NBC Sports -The competition which will decide who can qualify for the U.S. Olympic Trials will take place this weekend on the NBC Sports. Coverage of the Visa Championships begins Friday on Universal Sports Network at 8 p.m. ET with day one of the women’s competition. NBC will air the men’s finals at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday and the women’s finals at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday. Al Trautwig, Elfi Schlegel, Tim Daggett and Andrea Joyce call the action. Adidas Grand Prix Track & Field Tomorrow on NBC- NBC Sports will have coverage of the Adidas Grand Prix Track and Field Championships tomorrow. Paul Sunderland, Ato Boldon, Lewis Johnson and Dwight Stones will call the action from New York at 3 p.m. ET
