Whitehall girls soccer team competes in championship game; pep rally Friday

The Zephyrs (21-4) will play Cumberland Valley at 4 p.m. at Hershey Park Stadium. Cumberland Valley defeated Whitehall, 1-0, on May 5 and defeated Mechanicsburg, 3-0, in their semi-final. The Zephyrs advanced to the championship by winning Tuesday's semi-final, 5-3, over Red Land. Standout junior forward Kayla Cunningham scored three unassisted goals in the first half of the game. Also, the Whitehall Athletic Department, in conjunction with the girls' soccer booster committee will be hosting a girls' soccer pep rally on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Zephyr Sports Complex. The pep rally will last about 30 minutes.
