http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/sports/index.ssf/2012/06/todd_young_of_nazareth_officia.html FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES Todd Young is now the Pennsylvania state record holder for catching the largest lake trout in the commonwealth. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission officially certified the lake trout caught by Young, of Nazareth, on May 6 at 29 pounds, 4 ounces. Young hauled in the record-setting fish while fishing in Lake Erie aboard the charter boat Eyecon II. He used a Northern King spoon to hook the fish while trolling about three miles offshore from Harbor Creek. Young's lake trout exceeds the previous record by 1 pound, 7 ounces. The previous record (27 pounds, 13 ounces) was held by Tom Illar Jr., of Apollo, Pa., who also caught his lake trout in Lake Erie. Young's trip on the Eyecon II was a graduation present from his family. His father, Curt Young, and two buddies accompanied him on the trip. Young is a recent graduate of Clarion University and a 2008 Nazareth graduate.
