RETIREMENT BASH: Northampton Community College invites the community to a farewell celebration 6-9 p.m. June 15 honoring president Arthur Scott and Sue Kubik, vice president of Institutional Advancement, both of whom will retire at the end of the academic year. The event includes cocktails and grazing on the Main Campus Quad, a program in Lipkin Theatre and coffee and dessert. Tickets are $25 per person; proceeds benefit scholarships and endowments. WALK FOR A CAUSE: Easter Seals Eastern Pa. kicks off its annual Walk With Me fundraising event at 10:30 a.m. at the Allentown Rose Garden. Adult registration of $20 includes a meal ticket, event T-shirt and sport sack. Children 15 and under can attend walk and enjoy crafts and activities at no charge. The first 100 kids to arrive receive a free T-shirt.
