Liberty's KJ Williams, Whitehall's Nick Shafnisky among Big 33 "hot" prospects

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Still not sure if the $15 they charge for the Big 33 game program is worth it, but the book is a nice keepsake and it does offer a considerable amount of information. Two of the 264 pages are used to list the upcoming prospects for the Big 33 Classic. It's a collaborative effort between the Big 33 and the PSFCA (Pennsylaniva Scholastic Football Coaches Association) who have released lists of the "Hot 100 Juniors" and the "Hot 50 Sophomores." I am not sure how they truly determine these guys, other than through word-of-mouth, but The Morning Call coverage area had several kids make both lists. The sophomore list, which actually features guys who will be juniors in the fall, includes Liberty wide receiver KJ Williams (seen below in the high jump), listed at 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds and Pennridge running back Mike Class, listed at 5-10 and 175 pounds.Easton-track18 Also listed is former Pius X quarterback A.J. Long, who is now enrolled at Friendship Christian School in Lebanon, Tenn. Among the juniors, or rising seniors, getting some Big 33 love, are Whitehall quarterback Nick Shafnisky (6-2, 200), Pius X lineman Steve Juarbe (6-2, 290) and linebackers Caleb Johnson of Northern Lehigh (6-4, 210) and Austin Brown (6-0, 225) of Easton. .
