Jars of Clay to perform free festival in Bethlehem

Their self-titled album including the track reached platinum status. The group will perform Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem for the Alive '12 outdoor festival. The event is free and open to the public. The festival aims to promote awareness of HIV, AIDS and water issues in Africa, according to the festival website. The festival starts at 11 a.m. with a group walk and run. Walk registration begins 9:30 a.m. Musical performances begin at 11:45 a.m. and will continue into the evening. Attendees are welcome to bring coolers, lawn chairs and blankets, the festival website says. No alcoholic beverages are permitted. There will be food vendors on site. Parking costs $10. The church is located at 2344 Center St. The following groups and singers will perform, in order, throughout the day.
