The J. Geils Band to perform Great Allentown Fair

Geils Band, best known for their early '80s hits "Centerfold," "Freeze Frame" and "Love Stinks" will perform Aug. 28 at The Great Allentown Fair. Tickets cost $29 and $49 and go on sale June 30. The band formed in the early '70s and broke up in 1985, shortly after they achieved much of their success. They have only reunited to perform for random appearances since the officially disbanded. While the entire band has never played The Great Allentown Fair, lead singer Peter Wolf performed at the fair with Cheap Trick and Bad Company in 1993.
