Coaches, last chance to contribute to softball all-area team

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER The softball season is over for everybody around here except Liberty and Kutztown, who are both in action tonight in the first round of states, but we still have to take care of the all-area sofball team and season-ending awards. Coaches, you are welcome to contribute to the process by sending me nominations of your own kids and your thoughts of those from other teams who have shined this season. We're also looking for coach-of-the-year, player and pitcher-of-the-year and rookie-of the-year (top freshman) honors. Please send me your choices to kgroller@mcall.com today or tomorrow as we want to finalize the choices by the end of the week. So far, very few coaches have submitted anything and that's fine, but when the selections come out and you are not happy, I don't want to hear it if you didn't even bother to contribute. I've heard from more parents than coaches so far, but their stats will not be regarded as official stats for the season and obviously their contributions come with at least a smidge of bias.
