The Barry Boyer ceremony, originally scheduled for this past Saturday and a victim of the weekend storm, has been reset for Friday night at Nazareth.
It will be held at approximately 7 p.m. in between games of a girl-boy Lehigh Valley Conference doubleheader between Northampton and Nazareth. The girls game begins the action at 5:30 p.m.
Boyer, who was inducted into the Lehigh Valley Basketball Hall of Fame in 1997, had two very successful stints as Nazareth's boys basketball coach. He coached from 1962-70 and again from 1976-82.
