NBC Sees Best Rating Ever for Sunday Night Football Telecast- The overnight ratings numbers for the 2011 season finale of Sunday Night Football (SNF) gave NBC the highest rating in the six year run of the series. Last night’s Cowboys/Giants telecast earned a 17.1 national overnight rating, up 36% over last year’s week seventeen match-up. The game was the most-watched prime time Monday or Sunday night game in 13 years, and the highest rated prime time season finale in 17 years.

NFL Network sets NFL Replay for the Week- The NFL Network has unveiled its final regular season NFL Replay match-ups for the week. Tonorrow night fans can re-live the Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots at 8:00p.m. ET followed by the Detroit Lions at the Green Bay Packers at 9:30p.m. ET. On Wednesday NFL Network will re-play the Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants at 8:00p.m. ET.

NBA TV Unveils first Fan Night game of 2012- The fans of the NBA have spoken and the first Fan Night telecast of the season will be the Houston Rockets at the Los Angeles Lakers, tomorrow night at 10:30p.m. ET. Voting for next week’s Fan Night game begins tomorrow morning at 8:00a.m. ET with the following games up for a vote: Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls at Minnesota Timberwolves, LA Clippers at Portland Trailblazers, Phoenix Suns at LA Lakers, and Miami Heat at Golden State Warriors.

Golf Channel Reading for 2012 PGA Opener- Golf Channel will have 17.5 hours of coverage of the 2012 PGA Tour opening tournament this weekend, the Hyundai Tournament of Champions at Kapalua, Hawaii. Coverage begins Friday at 5:30p.m. ET. Terry Gannon and Dan Hicks will anchor the coverage, with Johnny Miller and Nick Faldo serving together as analysts.
