FROM THE MORNING CALL
The 10-team fields are set for this weekend's District 11 Team Wrestling tournaments.
Defending champions Easton (Class 3A) and Bethlehem Catholic (2A) likely will be the top seeds for the two-day event at Freedom High. Bethlehem Catholic (7-0) edged Easton 29-26 on Saturday night and can clinch its first outright Lehigh Valley Conference title with a victory over Whitehall on Wednesday
Wrestling at the district duals begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday with the preliminary rounds, followed by the quarterfinals at 6 and 7:45 p.m. The 2A semifinals are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, followed by the 3A semifinals at 1 p.m.
The championship matches are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The top two teams in each class advance to next week's PIAA Team Wrestling Tournament
Here are the 10 qualifying teams in each class, with their records and seeding-points averages. Seeding points do not determine the tournament seeds. A committee will seed the tournament later this week.
