John Mayer can add another accolade to his resume: he is the latest musician to get his own signature Martin guitar.
The Grammy Award-winning guitarist and singer-songwriter has partnered with Upper Nazareth Township-based C.F. Martin & Co. for a limited 00-455C John Mayer Edition acoustic guitar, according to a news release. Only 25 guitars have been made, according to the release.
Each guitar has been signed by Mayer and numbered in sequence, according to the release. The instrument was unveiled last weekend during the Anaheim Winter NAMM Show in California, according to the release.
The John Mayer Edition guitar is based on 12-fret 00 specifications and design concepts from the artist known for such hits as "Your Body is a Wonderland," "Waiting on the World to Change," "Daughters," and "No Such Thing," according to the release.
