Ryan Dibilio will wear his brother's No. 32 against Allen on Friday night

FROM KEITH GROLLER

Joe Arndt gave us an encouraging report after visiting Chuck Dibilio in the hospital on Friday afternoon.

Arndt took Chuck's younger brother Ryan, a junior basketball player, along with him to Thomas Jefferson Universiy Hospital in Philadelphia to see Dibilio, who suffered a stroke in the week hours of Friday morning.

"He recognized us, shook our hands and wished Ryan good luck because he knew he had a basketball game to play," Arndt said.

Arndt said that Dibilio had made vast improvement throughout Friday, but a long recovery lies ahead. The main concern is what caused the stroke.

"You know he’ll do everything he can to bounce back strong,” Arndt said. “He’ll work harder than he ever has.”

As a tribute to Chuck, Arndt allowed Ryan to switch from his usual No. 23 to wear Chuck's old No. 32.

"We hadn't given that number to anybody this year," Arndt said.

He also planned to start Ryan in the Lehigh Valley Conference in the game against Allen.

"He should get a tremendous ovation," Arndt said. "The entire is rallying behind the Dibilio family."

Arndt said the game was important for his 6-7 squad and added "We now have extra incentive. We'd like to get this one for Chuck."
