Brian Bass pitched a five-hitter, striking out two while allowing one unearned run and two walks, as the Lehigh Valley IronPigs completed a three-game sweep of Pawtucket in the Governors' Cup semifinal with a 3-1 victory.
The IronPigs will play at Columbus on Tuesday in the first game of the Governors' Cup final.
Kevin Frandsen drove in Rich Thompson in the top of the first inning with an RBI groundout to get the Pigs on the board.
Josh Barfield added a solo home run in the next inning and Thompson scored again on a fielder's choice in the sixth to stretch the Lehigh Valley lead to 3-0.
