ORAL CANCER WALK: The 3rd Annual Oral Cancer Walk will be Oct. 1 at the Bethlehem Township Municipal Park, 2900 Farmersville Road. Registration is at 9:30 a.m.; the walk begins at 11. Registration is $25; $10, under 18; free, under 10, and includes a healthful meal, T-shirt and an oral cancer screening. Chairwoman is Eva Grayzel, a local oral cancer survivor. GOLF FOR AUTISM: The annual Autism Scramble to benefit the ARCH (Autism Resource Community Hub) takes place Oct.1 at Whitetail Golf Club, 2679 Klein Road, Bath. Registration is at 12:30 p.m. and a shotgun start is at 1 p.m. A $100 registration fee includes green fees, cart, range balls, cookout and prizes. Corporate sponsorships available. GOLF FOR ST. LUKE'S: Joe's Tavern Bar & Grill has rescheduled its 7th Annual Golf Outing Oct. 2 at Green Pond Country Club in Bethlehem. Registration is at noon; shotgun start at 1:30 p.m., followed by dinner and awards at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $80 per golfer and includes cart and greens fees, golf gift, dinner buffet, beverage cart, foursome photo, snack at the turn, bucket of balls and goodie bag. Dinner only is $25. Proceeds benefit St. Luke's Cancer Center. The fundraiser is held annually in memory of Pauline Salak who passed away from colon cancer in 1999. WALK/RUN FOR ROTARY: The Rotary Club of Allentown is sponsoring its second annual 5K Walk/Run on Oct. 2 at the Trexler Nature Preserve in Schnecksville. The event raises money for college scholarships for students from high schools in Allentown. The Morning Call and PPL are major sponsors of the 5K Walk/Run. HISPANIC AWARDS GALA: The Hispanic and Greater Lehigh Valley Chambers of Commerce present The Hispanic Awards Gala Oct. 8 at The Cosmopolitan, 22 N. COACHES VS. CANCER: The fourth annual Coaches vs. Cancer (CVC) Golf Tournament will be Oct. 8 at Whitetail Golf Course in Bath. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.; a cookout and award ceremony is at 1:30 p.m. Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. TOGETHER WE CAN: The Together We Can 2011 fundraising luncheon of the Lehigh County Conference of Churches will be held at noon Oct. 12 at Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall. BACH CHOIR GALA RECITAL: Violin virtuoso Hilary Hahn will make her Lehigh Valley debut as the featured artist for a Gala Recital and Fundraiser for the Bach Choir at 8 p.m. Oct. 15 at Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem. The two-time Grammy winner will perform Bach's Sonata No. 1 in G Minor, Beethoven's Sonata No. 2 in A Major, Brahms' Sonatensatz, a newly commissioned work and selected shorter works. DREAM COME TRUE CALENDAR: The Dream Come True 2012 Calendar Kickoff Event is 5:12- 8:12 p.m. Oct. 24 at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks. Tickets are $12.
