Upper Nazareth residents eligible for federal aid following flooding from Irene

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

Upper Nazareth Township residents who dealt with flooding during Hurricane Irene are eligible to apply for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, supervisors announced Wednesday.

Chairman Mike Rinker told the public during the meeting applications are now available at the municipal building, 100 Newport Ave.

Rinker said the township as a whole is expected to receive some disaster relief related to the hurricane. However, it is unclear how much or when the payment will be received.
