2010 WPIAL TEAM WRESTLING FINALS PPD UNTIL MONDAY

The massive winter storm that blew through western Pennsylvania Friday night and Saturday morning has forced the WPIAL to postpone the AA and AAA team wrestling finals until Monday night February 8th.

Day Four of the week-long 2010 WPIAL Team Wrestling Playoffs is in the books and a pair of undefeated teams bit the dust. The top two seeds in Class AAA, Connellsville and Penn-Trafford were ousted from the district playoffs in the WPIAL Class AAA Semifinals Thursday night as Kiski Area and Canon-McMillan advance to fight for gold. In Class AA, for the third straight year it will be Burrell against Shady Side Academy in the Class AA team championship. The Bucs and the Indians were winners in both Quarterfinals and Semifinals action on Wednesday night. They will face off in the title match on Saturday as Burrell shoots for a record fourth straight WPIAL team crown.
