UPDATE ON THE BARRY BOYER COURT DEDICATION

From Keith Groller

Updated at 4:10 p.m. Saturday

I was planning to go to Nazareth tonight for the Bangor-Nazareth game and the festivities to honor Barry Boyer, but it was postponed by the snow. Officials were holding out hope it could get in because a number of people were coming from out of town, but the weather just got a little too wicked.

The special ceremony to honor the former Nazareth coach and longtime teacher by naming the court in his honor is being rescheduled. We heard it wasset for Friday in between games of a girl-boy doubleheader with Northampton. However, this just came in from AD Rusty Amato:

ATTENTION MEDIA

The NASD Barry Boyer Court Dedication scheduled to be held at half time of the Bangor vs. Nazareth Boy's Basketball Game tonight has been canceled. We are in the process of rescheduling the ceremony for an appropriate time this coming week.

I will be in touch with further details....I appreciate any consideration you can give us in covering the rescheduled event.
