SALISBURY BOYS BASKETBALL BEAT WILSON TUESDAY NIGHT!

The Salisbury High School boys basketball team was 8-for-10 from 3-point range en route to a 68-52 Colonial League win over Wilson Area High School today.

The Falcons (10-11, 6-9) needed to win their final two games to get to .500 overall to qualify for the District 11 tournament. Senior guard Christian Diaz topped all scorers with 23 points.

His 3 with 3:10 left in the fourth quarter extended Salisbury's lead to 58-44.

The Warriors drop to 13-6 overall and 12-2 in the league.

Senior Leo Davidson led Wilson with 15 points. The Warriors were without head coach Bob Frankenfield, who was ill, so assistant head coach Matt Edwards ran the show.
