PEN ARYGL WRESTLING

HERSHEY - Pen Argyl has wrestled all the way back into position to take third place at the PIAA Class AA Team Wrestling Championships this afternoon.

The Green Knights dispatched Burrell 39-27 in the third round of consolations to earn a berth opposite Ridgway in the third-place match later today.

Junior Luciano Burriesci, who clinched Pen Argyl's crucial first-round consolation victory over Forest Hills the night before, sealed this one as well with a 3-1 decision over Cole Harkins at 140 pounds. Rex Lutz followed with a 14-3 major decision over Chuck Makara as the Knights (21-1) won their third in a row after being beaten by Schuylkill Valley in the quarterfinals.

Schuylkill Valley just suffered a 34-30 defeat at the hands of Ridgway in the other third-round consolation match.
