NEW WRESTLING SCHEDULE

The District 11 Duals wrestling tournament scheduled to begin this afternoon at Freedom High School has been postponed because of the forecasted snow.

The championships will now begin 11 a.m. Sunday, with weigh-ins scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Teams will receive a 2-pound weight allowance since they will not be able to practice today or Saturday.

Here is the new schedule:

Class AA:
First round, 11 a.m. -- No. 8 Northwestern vs. No. 9 Panther Valley; No. 7 Tri-Valley vs. No. 10 Catasauqua

Quarterfinals, 12:30 p.m. -- No. 4 Northern Lehigh vs. No. 5 Pius X.; No. 3 Saucon Valley vs. No. 6 Lehighton

Quarterfinals, 2:15 p.m. -- No. 1 Pen Argyl vs. Northwestern-Panther Valley winner; No. 2 Bethlehem Catholic vs. Tri-Valley-Catasauqua winner

Class AAA:
First round, 11 a.m. -- No. 8 Blue Mountain vs. No. 9 Pleasant Valley; No. 7 Stroudsburg vs. No. 10 Pocono Mountain East

Quarterfinals, 12:30 p.m. -- No. 4 Easton vs. No. 5 Liberty; No. 3 Northampton vs. No. 6 Whitehall

Quarterfinals, 2:15 p.m. -- No. 1 Nazareth vs. Blue Mountain-Pleasant Valley winner; No. 2 Parkland vs. Stroudsburg-Pocono Mountain East winner

Semifinals and championship finals will be held Monday, with weigh-ins starting at 4 p.m.
