JOHNSTOWN — The family of the late U.S. Rep. John P. Murtha, who died Monday in Virginia, has announced further details regarding funeral services.
Public viewings will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Duca Funeral Home, 1622 Menoher Blvd.
A private funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Westmont Presbyterian Church, 601 Luzerne St.
A private burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the Murtha family asks that contributions be made to the UPMC John P. Murtha Cancer Pavilion (337 Somerset Street, Johnstown, PA 15901) or the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center (600 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA 15963).
