The Express-Times reports on Monday’s Council meeting with a focus on the creation of a fire code officer and the Council’s writing a letter to the County encouraging them not to privatize Gracedale.
From other sources who attended Thursday’s workshop meeting, there are residents upset with the installation of meters on Center from Main to Broad, and there was a bit of a controversy over the emergency management officer position, which went to a resident of Upper Nazareth. A Nazareth Borough man contends he was qualified to serve in that capacity, and challenged the Council’s decision.
