PHILADELPHIA- (February 11, 2010) – Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports, provides Phillies fans with the most Spring Training programming in the network’s 13-year history. In addition to live game broadcasts, Comcast SportsNet will air eight original Phillies programs, plus have exclusive reports from Clearwater throughout Spring Training. Comcast SportsNet will air eight original Phillies presentations every Sunday at 10:30 p.m. beginning with Sunday’s Phillies Focus and continuing throughout Spring Training with programs featuring Chase Utley, plus a sit down with three former Phillies.

Each Sunday, Comcast SportsNet will delve into the storylines of the 2010 Phillies including the addition of Roy Halladay, the mindset of skipper Charlie Manuel, plus the busy off-season of GM Ruben Amaro, Jr. Phillies Focus begins airing this Sunday, February 14 at 10:30 p.m. and will feature host Leslie Gudel, along with Phillies Insider Jim Salisbury sitting down with Charlie Manuel to talk all things Phillies. New Phillies Focus programs will also air at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 28; Sunday, March 7, 14 and 21 and Sunday, April 4.



The Chase Rolls On

Phillies broadcaster Tom McCarthy sits down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with Phillies’ All-Star Second Baseman Chase Utley. The Chase Rolls On airs on Sunday, February 21 at 10:30 p.m.



Success in the City

On Sunday, March 28 at 10:30 p.m., Michael Barkann hosts Success in the City, a roundtable discussion with former Phillies Ricky Bottalico, Von Hayes and Darren Daulton. Topics include what life was like as a major leaguer in Philadelphia, plus life after baseball.



Countdown To Opening Day

Beginning on Wednesday, February 17, Phillies Insider Jim Salisbury begins his extensive reports from Clearwater, FL, the site of Phillies Spring Training. Salisbury will provide exclusive player, coaches and management interviews, plus breaking news and in-depth features on CSNPhilly.com. He will also provide live reports for Daily News Live and SportsNite. Leslie Gudel and Michael Barkann will also join Salisbury at Spring Training.
