St. Thomas More 7th/8th grade boys team is headed to state tournament again

For the fifth consecutive year, the St. Thomas More 7th/8th grade boys basketball team is going to the CYO state championships, this year at Pittsburgh Central Catholic.

In its first game on Friday, STM will play St. Max from West Chester, which is being coached by former Central Catholic standout Neale Boyle, who is also the brother of current Notre Dame-Green Pond coach Pat Boyle.

STM's head coach is Dennis McCarthy. He is assisted by Dan Reichenbach.

The players: Patrick Adams, Matt Anthony, Joey Galantini, Scott Kuna, Edward Manzella, Patrick McDaid, Thomas Minutella, Jake Patridge, Jack Reichenbach, Jay Vaughan, Andrew Waldron and Joe Wolf.
