FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES
Jimmy Sheptock suffered a rough Saturday morning in the medal round of the 184-pound weight class at the NCAA Division I wrestling championships at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, but in reality his goal in Iowa had been achieved the night before when he secured All-American status.
Saturday's session saw the University of Maryland junior and Northampton Area High School graduate drop two matches as he wound up finishing sixth in the tournament.
Sheptock fell 3-0 to Cornell's Steve Bosak, a 2012 NCAA champion, in a consolation semifinal and then 6-2 to Iowa's two-time All-American Ethen Lofthouse in the fifth-place match.
