Upper Nazareth Township woman faces zoning penalties for housing tenants in single-family home

An Upper Nazareth Township homeowner could be violating zoning laws by renting a single-family home to multiple tenants, according to the township.

Township Supervisors Vice Chairman Scott Sylvainus said municipal officials have told Shirley Kemper of three potential violations at her property in the 2600 block of Lynnwood Avenue: tenants not having proper moving permits, failure to fill out a landlord/tenant roster every six months, and using a single-family house improperly.

Kemper did not return emails for comment and did not answer the door at the home Thursday.
