FROM THE MORNING CALL
READING — After 21/2 quarters of shaky ballhandling and offensive futility, Nazareth had found its footing.
The Blue Eagles were using their 1-3-1 trap to fluster Dover. They had started to connect from the perimeter, transforming an 11-point deficit into a one-point lead early in the fourth quarter.
As quickly as Nazareth turned its fortunes around, the problems that plagued it early returned.
Dover took advantage by scoring seven of the game's final nine points Tuesday night. Alayah Hall delivered the last two, connecting on both ends of a 1-and-1 with 13 seconds to play as the Eagles rallied for a 42-38 victory in a PIAA Class 4A second-round girls basketball game at Reading High's Geigle Complex
