North dispatches South in Parkland 'war'

Saturday, Stinner played a key part in a resounding victory. The 2012 Parkland High School graduate went 3-for-3 with four RBIs in North Parkland's 10-0 five-inning rout of rival South Parkland at Parkland Middle School. Stinner and the Buffaloes remained unbeaten in the Lehigh Valley League legion baseball playoffs with the win and advanced to today's championship game. North Parkland (20-2), champions of the regular season, plays fourth-seeded Southern Lehigh (13-9) with the LVL title and a berth in the Region 2 Tournament at stake. First pitch is 5:30 p.m. in Orefield.
