Any book about Native American culture, history, politics, artifacts, archaeology, crafts, herbals or dance is acceptable. Books and videos about colonial America, environmental issues and native tribes of the western hemisphere are also welcome. Museum hours are noon to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday.The book sale, which will be held during summer and fall events, benefits the museum's special events, festivals, educational programs and maintenance. PENN STATE EXTENSION, Lehigh County, 4184 Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall Township, will hold two-hour tune-ups for groups, agencies and congregations desiring to run more effective meetings 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 1, 8, 13, 15 and 20. Classes include: meeting and agenda preparation, working with groups and understanding group process, managing conflict, using parliamentary procedure and consensus, and dealing with change. Group leaders and participants may choose to attend as many classes as they wish, depending on their needs and schedules. HOLY TRINITY MEMORIAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Fourth and Pine streets, Catasauqua, will hold a picnic-style chicken dinner Saturday, Aug. 18. Seatings will be at 4:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The menu includes: baked chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob, tossed salad, rolls, homemade desserts and beverages. The cost is $9 for adults; $5 for ages 6-12; and free for children under 6. Proceeds benefit Northampton County Meals on Wheels and Trinity's Heating Fund. Take-outs are available. NORTHAMPTON COUNTY GOVERNOR WOLF HISTORICAL SOCIETY campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township, will be the site of a free Passport to History Day 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 29. In addition to tours of the Governor Wolf buildings, other Northampton County historical societies and organizations will present information on 26 historical sites in the county. FRIENDS OF THE DELAWARE CANAL will hold a free Water on the Rocks walk along the Delaware Canal Towpath at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29 beginning at Theodore Roosevelt Recreation Area, Route 611, Raubsville. The following participants' choice trophies will be presented: 1903-1949, 1950-1959, 1960-1969, 1970-1979, 1980-1989, 1990-1999, and 2000-present.
