Bath, with six errors, fumbles away opening game in Region 2 American Legion Baseball tournament

Seven strong innings turned in by Marty Martens coupled with those six errors doomed the Northampton County League champions to an 11-3 loss to Bux-Mont League champion Doylestown in the second of four first-round games held at Owls Field in West Lawn, Pa. It's a double-elimination tournament so Bath is still alive. Bath will meet either Oley/Topton or host West Lawn, which meet in tonight's fourth game, 1 p.m. Sunday in an elimination game.
