NBC Sports, SI, to Produce Magazine Show

http://sportsmediajournal.com/ The NBC Sports Group and Sports Illustrated announced today it will partner in producing a monthly, one-hour magazine program on NBC Sports Network. “Sports Illustrated” presented by Lexus debuts Tuesday, July 24, 9:00 p.m. ET. The program will be based on the magazine’s penchant for storytelling, reporting, and commentary by SI journalists. Red Line Films will produce the show, which will also feature segments from the SI Vault looking at sporting events and people from the past. The premiere episode will take place just three days before the opening of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
