Nazareth library director Josh Berk doesn't just oversee books: He writes them

http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/nazareth/index.ssf/2012/05/nazareth_library_director_josh.html FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES Ask for Josh Berk at the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity and you may get two different answers. They may point you to the executive director’s office, where the Hanover Township, Northampton County, resident has worked since January. Or they may point you to the young adult section, where the same Josh Berk is the author of two books in circulation. That’s right. Josh Berk doesn’t just oversee a library full of books — he writes them. Berk, 35, didn’t always want to be a writer. In fact, he didn’t want to be a librarian initially, either. Berk’s major in college was political science, but he found after four years of studying the subject he wanted to work in a more creative field. So when his father pointed him toward a job opening at the Allentown Public Library in July 1998, Berk applied and was hired.
