Phillipsburg High School baseball team drops epic 15-inning decision to Sayreville

That's the big question hovering over Phillipsburg High School's baseball program after today's epic 5-4 loss to top-seeded Sayreville in 15 innings in the completion of an NJSIAA North 2 Group 4 quarterfinal at East Brunswick High School. The marathon began on Friday at Sayreville's home field but was suspended because of rain with the game tied 4-4 in the 14th inning. The game was moved to East Brunswick's turf field.
