http://sportsmediajournal.com/ NFL Changes Tune on Pro Bowl, 2013 Edition on NBC- In a reversal of an earlier decision, the NFL today announced that indeed it will continue to hold the Pro Bowl. The 2013 edition will be held in Hawaii on January 27th and air on NBC. Good viewership for the game may have played a factor in the Pro Bowl’s return, registering 12.5 million viewers for this year’s game. Stanley Cup Finals Start Tonight on NBC- NBC Sports begins its coverage of the 2012 NHL Stanley Cup Finals tonight with Game One between the Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils. The NBC Sports Network will have pre-game coverage beginning at 7:30p.m with host Liam McHugh and analysts Mike Milbury and Keith Jones. Bob Costas hosts NBC’s coverage at 8:00p.m. Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick , Eddie Olczyk and Pierre McGuire will call the action. NBA Draft Lottery, Followed by Celtics/Heat Game Two Tonight on ESPN- ESPN will have live coverage of the NBA Draft Lottery beginning at 7:00P.m. ET tonight. Following the lottery, Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy and Doris Burke will have the call of Game Two of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. Tip-off is set for 8:30p.m. ET. Yankees/Angels on Wednesday Night Baseball- ESPN’s Wednesday Night Baseball tonight will feature the New York Yankees at the Los Angeles Angels. First pitch is 10:00p.m. ET on ESPN2 with Dave O’Brien and Nomar Garciaparra on the mic. 2012 USA Sevens Collegiate Rugby Championship on NBC and NBCSN- The NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) and NBC will have coverage this weekend of the 2012 USA Sevens Collegiate Rugby Championship. Live matches will air on NBC Sports Network on Saturday from 2-4:30 p.m. ET and then transition to NBC from 4:30-6 p.m. ET. On Sunday, NBC Sports Network will carry the Semifinal matches from 2-4 p.m. ET, followed by the Championship Final on NBC from 4-6 p.m. ET.
