Becahi beats Parkland 5-1 sets up LVC title game rematch with Liberty

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Junior Joelle Morey pitched a one-hitter and hit a two-run home run to lead Bethlehem Catholic to a 5-1 win over Parkland at the Trojans home field on Wednesday night in the Lehigh Valley Conference semifinals. For the Golden Hawks that sets up a meeting with Liberty, a 1-0 winner in nine innings over Emmaus in the other semifinal, at 7 p.m.Thursday at Pates Park for the LVC title. The same two teams met in the finals a year ago and Becahi won 11-1. However, Liberty has defeated Becahi twice this season -- 5-4 on March 29 and 1-0 on May 4.
