LEHIGH VALLEY CHAPTER of the Society for Human Resource Management will host its annual dinner Tuesday at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, 7736 Adrienne Drive, Fogelsville. JACOBSBURG ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER, 835 Jacobsburg Road, Bushkill Township, will hold Monarch Tagging at Jacobsburg 10 a.m. to noon today. Participants will join local butterfly enthusiast Doug Burton as he captures and tags monarch butterflies heading to Mexico for the winter. WOMEN'S RESOURCES OF MONROE COUNTY will hold a Butterfly Release for Peace program 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Grand Central Landfill's Environmental Education Center, 891 Grand Central Road, Plainfield Township. The free event aims to bring awareness to the charitable mission to end domestic and sexual violence in our community. Individuals may sponsor a butterfly for $15 (must be pre-ordered by Sept. 12) and release it in honor of loved ones. Light refreshments will be served. The rain date is Sept. 22. BUCKS COUNTY

STATE REP. MARGUERITE QUINN will host her fifth annual senior expo 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Central Bucks Senior Center, 700 Shady Retreat Road, Doylestown Township. The event will include exhibitors, health screenings, refreshments and the following guest speakers: Doylestown Township Police Chief Stephen J. BUCKS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION and Friends of Churchville Nature Center, 501 Churchville Lane, will host an autumnal equinox hike and campfire program 7:30 p.m. Friday. The cost is $5 for adults; $3 for children. Pre-registration is requested. A free bird walk will be held 7 to 9 a.m. Sept. 24. KISTLER-BITTING PARK YMCA POOL, Second and Washington streets, East Greenville, will hold a Doggie Swim Day 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Sponsored by the Freedom Valley YMCA of Upper Perkiomen Valley, 476 Pottstown Ave., Pennsburg, the cost is $4 per dog and proceeds benefit the Y Care Financial Aid Program and the Montgomery County SPCA.
