Rain washes out Halladay-JJ duel in Philly-Phillies Game Postponed

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies postponed Wednesday night's game against the Marlins at Citizens Bank Park because of rain.

Phils right-hander Roy Halladay and Marlins right-hander Josh Johnson, who had been scheduled to pitch Wednesday, will now pitch Thursday.

Philadelphia has not rescheduled Wednesday's game, but the Phillies and Marlins meet again at Citizens Bank Park on Sept. 6-8. They could play a doubleheader. They also have a common day off Sept. 9, which could make it a four-game series.

Tickets for Wednesday's game will be honored for the rescheduled game date.
