Third-generation Indy-car race driver Marco Andretti has purchased his dad's mansion on Rose Inn Avenue in Bushkill Township, an Andretti spokeswoman confirmed Friday.
The home – Marco's childhood home -- is next door to the home of Mario Andretti, Marco's grandfather and Michael's father.
In an interview with the Des Moines (Iowa) Register, Marco said: "Every time I have a couple seconds off, I've been trying to get back there and hang with friends and family. That's what it's all about at the end of the day. … It's good that the house stays in the family."
Marco is in Iowa for Sunday's Iowa Corn Indy 250 at Iowa Speedway in Newtown, about 30 miles east of Des Moines. He drives for his dad's race team.
