Nazareth Center for the Arts Update

June Gallery

Mary Colette Campagna's art work is featured in the Gallery of the Nazareth Center for the Arts for June. She does Giclee art, which is her photos transferred onto canvas that look like an oil painting. She is bringing mostly floral canvases to coordinate with June's Garden Tour. Her artist reception will be Friday June 11, 7:00-9:00 p.m.


Garden Tour

The Enchanted Garden Tour is one of four annual fundraisers to support the operation of the Center. Six unique gardens in and around Nazareth, including the Center itself, will feature art, music, and light refreshments. The tour runs from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on June 19 (rain date June 20). Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Donahoe Farms, Nazareth Floral Design, Copiers Inc, and through our online box office at www.nazaretharts.com


Upcoming Performances

· Friday, June 4: Guitar Villa Presents The Locksmiths, featuring Andrei Maurer. Andrei is an accomplished instructor at Guitar Villa and he will dissect and explain the theory behind the music you will hear his band play. Free Admission.

· Saturday June 5: Lester Hirsh. Grammy nominated guitarist, singer/songwriter, and poet will perform on a Spanish 6 string and acoustic 12 string guitar. His style ranges from classical, county, and folk to Brazilian Jazz and Flamenco. Free Admission.

· Saturday, June 12: Sharon Norris, whose professional career was spawned on the cabaret scene of Manhattan, returns to the music scene with a more sophisticated sound borne of life experience. Tickets $10 available online and at Mitch’s Market in Nazareth (New and Belvidere).


Special Announcement

Wailing Waters, featuring Tyler Grady, will perform a summer concert at the Nazareth Borough Park to benefit the Center. Joining Wailing Waters will be nationally known Jimmy and Parrots. Both will perform at the amphitheatre on Sunday August 29. More details to follow.
