Sunday is the 66th anniversary of D-Day, the air and sea invasions of the French coast that were integral in breaking Nazi Germany’s hold over Europe during World War II.
The Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge is hosting a D-Day remembrance outing starting at 12:45 p.m. in Nazareth Borough Park, North Broad Street Extension.
A ceremony honoring local veterans is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Country singer Dick Saylor will perform.
