http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Olympics Viewership Remains Strong, But Dips Under 30 Million- NBC Sports reports that the viewership for Wednesday’s prime time Olympics coverage was 29.1 million viewers, making it the most watched second Wednesday non-U.S. hosted Games in 36 years. Last night’s rating was 16.8, 11% higher than 2008 and 10% above the 2004 Games. Through the first 13 days of the Olympics the audience has averaged 32.6 million viewers and a 18.3 rating, the highest since 1976. ESPN, ABC Prepare for Little League World Series- ESPN has announced that it will produce all 32 Little League World Series games from Williamsport, PA. ABC will telecast five games, including the championship on August 26th at 3:00p.m. ET. Karl Ravech will team with Nomar Garciaparra and Jenn Brown as the number one announcing team. Gary Thorne will call 13 games, and Sunday Night Baseball analysts Terry Farncona and Orel Hershiser will call three games. The Little League World Series begins August 16th. College Baseball Homers and Extreme Sports Part of CBS Sports Spectacular- The CBS Sports Spectacular will pre-ceed the PGA Championship both Saturday and Sunday beginning at 1:00p.m. ET. Adam Zucker, Joe Carter and Tracy Wolfson host the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby featuring some of the best college baseball players in the country. On Sunday Jonny Moseley and Erica Hosseini call the action of the Alt Games extreme competition from California. Professional Bull Riders on CBS Sports Network- The CBS Sports Network will return to its coverage of the Professional Bull Riders at The Express Classic. Coverage begins tomorrow at 10:00p.m. ET from Tulsa, OK. Craig Hummer and PBR Ring of Honor member J.W. Hart announce, with Leah Garcia reporting from dirt level.
