Hires and promotions at Lehigh Valley companies

Dunn of Quakertown has been promoted to assistant vice president/branch manager at QNB's Quakertown Commons office in the Giant Food Store on Route 309, Quakertown. Employed at QNB since 1988, Dunn is responsible for the efficient, effective management of a full-service branch office, as well as to promote and support branch sales and to coach and motivate branch staff. Her former position was assistant branch manager at QNB's Country Square office. Dunn graduated from Quakertown High School and earned a general banking diploma from the American Institute of Banking. She is an active member of the Upper Bucks Sertoma Club, Quakertown Alive Events Committee and volunteers in numerous bank-related charity events and activities. Alan Sofranko has joined the staff of Penn Foundation. He will provide psychiatric assessments and medication management for adults using Penn Foundation's Recovery Center and Forensic Assertive Community Treatment program. Prior to joining Penn Foundation, Dr. Sofranko served as director of psychiatry at Healthcare for the Homeless in Baltimore, Md. He holds special interest in community mental health, dual diagnosis treatment and advocacy to end homelessness. Sofranko is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He is licensed to practice psychiatry in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Sofranko earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt. He also earned a graduate degree in Biomedical Science from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
