Jim Evanko was the head coach at Nazareth Area High School, forging a 100-38-4 record from 1964-77, the high water mark being a 10-0 season in 1967, culminating with the Lehigh-Northampton League North Division championship. His coaching sidekicks were Jerry Treon, who later succeeded Evanko as coach at Nazareth, Ron Lewis and John Roanoke.
