Michael Strahan joining Kelly Ripa as 'Live! with Kelly' co-host, according to reports

Entertainment Weekly reports ABC had no comment when asked about the news. Strahan will replace Regis Philbin, who left the show in November. The news leaked a day after the show announced its new season would start Sept. 3 and Kelly Ripa would debut the new co-host Sept. 4.
