Jimmie Johnson leads with rain approaching again at Pocono

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER They're on the 88th lap here at Pocono Raceway. But rain is looming. Very dark clouds are approaching and the radar is showing lots of green with plenty of yellow mixed in. We have passed the halfway point, meaning a winner will be crowned today. Jimmie Johnson, coming off his win at the Brickyard, has had the dominant car and is ahead. Matt Kenseth is second, Brad Keselowski is third. Dale Earnhardt, Jr., prompted loud cheers when he moved into the lead twice for 10 laps, but he left on lap 51 with transmission trouble. That means that track president Brandon Igdalsky will not have to write a check for $100,000 in his new contest. Igdalsky had predicted an Earnhardt win and vowed to write out a check for 100K to a lucky fan if Junior had won the race. That is not going to happen.
