Jeff Fisher debuts high school football show on Los Angeles airwaves

http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/corky-blake/index.ssf/2012/08/jeff_fisher_debuts_high_school.html FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES Jeff Fisher’s passion for high school sports, especially football, has gone Hollywood. Well, to Southern California, to be specific. Fisher is the 1978 Wilson Area High School graduate who brought the Friday night Big Ticket football postgame highlights show to the Lehigh Valley during his tenure as WFMZ-69 sports director in the 1990s. On Saturday night, he completed his second two-hour radio show on KLAC AM 570 Fox Sports LA, the flagship station for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kings and Galaxy, San Diego Chargers and UCLA Bruins. “High School Football America – SoCal,” which airs from 10 p.m. to midnight on Saturdays and then moves to Friday nights once the Dodgers’ regular season concludes, is the latest piece to Fisher’s long-term goal of developing a multi-platform vehicle to deliver high school sports to the masses. His background in TV and radio make him a natural to pull it off.
