CBS Sports Network to Launch Weekly NFL Studio Show

http://sportsmediajournal.com/ NEW YORK- During today’s NFL on CBS Media Day in New York City, CBS Sports announced that it has created a new weekly NFL studio show that will debut this Septembr on the CBS Sports Network. NFL Monday Quarterback will bring together the network’s roster of quarterback anaylsts to look back at the previous week’s games and look forward to the slate of games to come. “In the constant upgrading of the content on the CBS Sports Network, you dont want to have a sports network without some relevant regularly scheduled NFL programming” said CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus, “We looked at delevoping something that was totally different and unique and we relaized some of the best quarterbacks in the history of the game work for CBS Sports already.” Phil Simms, Rich Gannon and Steve Beurlein will be regulars on the new hour-long show, which will be hosted by Adam Schein. Additional contributors will include Boomer Esiason, Dan Marino, and Dan Fouts. “We have many sports debate shows on television, we’re gonna have the luxury for the fans to have Phil Simms, Rich Gannon and Steve Beurlein to debate and talk about the hot button issues in the NFL” said Schein, “And of course we’ll relate it back to the most important position in the league, the quarterback.” Schein predicts the new show will present organic disagreements among the former NFL stars. “We’re not gonna be one of those shows that’s gonna force it but we will have natural disagreements. Its going to be a highly spirited debate show. And its coming from professionals who have played the position.” NFL Monday QB will make its debut on the CBS Sports Network on Monday, September 10th at 5:00p.m. ET. After week one the show will move to its permanent slot Mondays at 6:30p.m. ET
